It's awkward, it's uncomfortable and I wouldn't call it erotic by any means. But it is interesting, the characters are ambiguous, no one is an outright asshole (though there are moments when we're not sure). The husband is loving, and the movie doesn't take the easy way out.
It's hard to understand what Nicole Kidman's character wants when she doesn't seem to know herself, and it is slightly upsetting to see this woman CEO get bossed around by this cocky young male intern. I really wanted to see her kick ass, but it is all part of the journey and the last scene kida makes up for it.
Milk will never be the same though.
